The department of Housing Services at the Illinois Institute of Technology operates student housing, conference and guest housing. Housing Services partners closely with Dining Services and Residence Life to bring students a premiere housing experience. There are seven residence halls, and 4 apartment buildings in which 2,100 students make their "home away from home" as they pursue their education. The residence halls offer a focused and dynamic living and learning environment. In addition, Housing Services coordinates operational efforts with two university-affiliated sorority houses.
